PanopticAI's award-winning camera-based health and wellness monitoring solution provides users with a holistic analysis of their health simply by using the camera of their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Users can learn about their physiological signs (e.g., heart rate, respiratory rate, heart rate variability, stress index, etc.) and get actionable insights from their own comfort and privacy within 30 seconds. By combining remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) techniques with AI computer vision and signal processing, our software algorithms extract a person’s vital signs by analyzing subtle changes in skin color due to blood flow. Accurate measurement of these core vitals enables further diagnostic capabilities such as fever, stress, cardiac and respiratory risks, and more.

PanopticAI’s unique value proposition is a contactless technology for the acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of health information that would traditionally require the use of a contact-based sensor. Although contact-based health monitoring devices have risen in popularity, they suffer from everlasting complications (e.g., costs, upgrades, charging, shipping, etc.). Our camera-based monitoring solution offers a more efficient and affordable alternative that directly improves the user's quality of life.

The company was founded by a multidisciplinary team of researchers and scientists spun-out of HKUST and are currently incubated at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks. The team is committed to powering the next era of high-performance solutions with innovative technologies that are backed by academic research expertise in AI algorithms, advanced data analytics, and cloud computing.
