Social Inclusion, Environmental Sustainability

Do Did Dust Food targets health-conscious consumers, environmentally aware individuals, and food enthusiasts who prioritize sustainability and nutrition. Addressing significant food waste in the industry, particularly from okara—a byproduct of soy manufacturing—we transform this underutilized resource into high-quality ingredients for diverse food products.

With approximately 50% dietary fibre, 20–25% protein, and essential vitamins and minerals, okara offers numerous health benefits, including blood sugar control and reduced cholesterol levels. We collect fresh okara from local soy products producers, and go through a process including sterilization, drying, and milling to obtain dried okara powder. Okara powder can then become a raw material for our innovative product—Okara Chips, a non-fried snack that is both delectable and healthy.

Our offerings satisfy the demand for sustainable and ethical food choices without compromising taste. We generate revenue through okara-based products, workshops, and partnerships with retailers. To engage consumers, we utilize e-commerce platforms, health food stores, and community events, alongside educational workshops promoting okara’s benefits. Our performance can be measured through sales growth, customer retention, waste reduction metrics, and engagement levels from our initiatives.

We hope that by harnessing okara’s potential and educating the public on sustainable practices, we ultimately reduce landfill stress and foster a culture of sustainability, helping consumers make informed choices that benefit both their health and the environment.
