Friendstress is a social enterprise dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and integrating mental health education into schools and educational institutions. We focus on prevention by addressing the importance of mental health, particularly for senior secondary students (Form 4 to Form 6), who face significant pressures during the critical years of preparing for public exams.

Our flagship product, Stress Porcupine, is a unique stress management board game designed to let students role-play as both stress-givers and stress-receivers. Through this engaging experience, students gain a deeper understanding of stress dynamics, foster peer support, and develop stress management skills in a fun, interactive way.

We also offer certification training for social workers and social work students, transforming them into “Mental Health Ambassadors.” These ambassadors lead board game–based stress management workshops in schools, combining play with guided reflection (debriefing) to help students analyse and manage their stress effectively.

In addition to school workshops, we host educational programs for students, parents, and university communities, equipping stakeholders with practical strategies to address stress. By continuously recruiting and training ambassadors, we ensure a sustainable cycle of education and support. Our mission is to reduce stress-related challenges and student suicide rates, fostering a healthier, more resilient community through innovative and inclusive mental health education.
