ESGuardian is a green manufacturing enterprise that produces eco-friendly products using its self-invented silica capsule technology.
Mission
To advocate a low carbon lifestyle and the application of silica capsule technology to daily necessities.
Silica Capsule Technology
This technology enables products that typically come in concentrated liquid form, such as detergents, cosmetics, and body care solutions, to be stored conveniently as a compact silica capsule, which can also control the release of contents when it is in contact with water.
The Product
Gel Soap is ESGuardian’s first product that adopts our silica capsule technology. With this design, it is expected to perform more efficiently than liquid hand soap but with a lower carbon-footprint and cost - every 10g of gel soap is equivalent to 1 litre of liquid hand soap in terms of performance. Our gel soap currently comes in two different sizes, namely a 50g one for corporation use and a 10g one for household use.
Unique Proposition
Comparing with conventional liquid hand soap products, gel soap has a 99% reduction in weight which significantly reduces its CO2 emissions in logistics. Besides, the capsule form of the product encourages customers to reuse their eco-friendly dispensers instead of the disposable plastic ones, through which it could reduce the overall use of plastic bottles and, thus, minimise the threat of plastic waste to the environment.
Milestone
The 10g-sized gel soap will be officially launched in 1Q2023, with its first sales starting at the Mills bazaar in mid-January 2023. We are also expanding our network of distribution partners and online shop channels - so far, we have approached several property management companies which manage over 100 shopping malls and offices, and discussed the possibility of conducting a trial for our product.
