Founded in 2020, AI Guided Limited is an award-winning technology start-up that has its roots in Hong Kong Science Park’s incubation programme. Our business specialises in AI, haptic actuation, as well as environmental visualisation, especially for smart cities, social connectivity, and social welfare applications. Our main business is to develop assistive platforms and portable devices that, by combining technology with innovation, suit everyone, including the visually impaired and the elderly.

Our team consists of a wide spectrum of talents, from PhDs who specialise in mechanical and biomedical engineering to leading experts in sensor and robotic development as well as computational analysis for biomedical applications.

Our invention is a light-weight smart wearable device, GUIDi. It comes along with an intelligence platform that provides assistance in navigation and independent mobility of the visually impaired, the elderly, and the cognitively impaired. Types of such assistance include (1) creating 3D virtual maps via environmental visualisation, (2) using AI programming to identify and analyse the obstacles and dangers; and to plan the obstacle-free path for the user, and (3) enabling an authentic experience of precise hand-free dynamic navigation with short response time for users through real-time 4D actuation.
