CanTone is an innovative social venture established in 2023, dedicated to helping Ethnic Minority (EM) communities better integrate into Hong Kong society through education, fostering diverse inclusion. We are a team with ethnically diverse background and high cultural sensitivity. Our goal is aligned with the SDGs of “No Poverty”, “Quality Education”, and “Reducing Inequalities”. We have received support from the SIE Fund for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024, developed the CanTone App with AI and 4 EM languages, featuring “AI ChatLife” to simulate daily scenario Cantonese conversations (e.g., shopping, food ordering), enabling learners to master Cantonese and confidently enhance social participation.

Our core business is education, partnering with over 40 NGOs and schools, CanTone leverages cutting-edge AI to deliver non-Chinese Cantonese courses and AI workshops for organisations. In the past year, we conducted over 110 events, served more than 2300 EMs. We are committed to building a bridge of inclusion for Hong Kong's multicultural society, promoting social diversity, inclusion, and racial equality. We also provide multicultural experience activities (e.g. Henna Art) for locals to learn about diverse cultures and religious practices to enhance mutual understanding. Additionally, we have joined the Equal Opportunities Commission’s The Racial Diversity & Inclusion Charter for Employers. We now have 40 EM Youth Ambassadors to assist in our events, providing internship opportunities and enhancing their working experience. In recognition of the CanTone's proven impact on workplace racial equity and inclusion, CanTone was awarded the EOC’s Racial Diversity & Inclusion Employers Award in 2025.
