社會共融,健康與福祉

4U Inclusive Fitness Ltd. is a social sporting enterprise in Hong Kong. Our aim is to promote inclusive gym culture, which then provides people with special needs, such as the disabled and the elderly, with the opportunities to join others in training in the scene of mainstream fitness. Considering the differences which the disabled and the elderly have in health conditions, physical abilities, and thus sporting requirements, we believe that by providing them with guidance from professional trainers, their specific needs can be met and they can eventually enjoy more desirable sporting experiences.

The income we obtain from mainstream users will partly be used for social support purposes, with the ultimate aim of allowing people with special needs to train in gyms at a lower cost. Besides, 4U Inclusive Fitness Ltd. intends to cooperate with related organisations to regularly hold different inclusion activities, such as talks and workshops, to raise public awareness of the importance of inclusive sport culture.

For the disabled and the aged, unfortunately, physical constraints are not the largest difficulties they face, but the lack of support from organisations and professional trainers who are equipped with specific knowledge of training the physically challenged. It upsets us to see the way this community’s interest in sports is often left unsatisfied simply because the regular fitness service providers are frightened by the risk of having to take responsibility for any potential injuries.

This is why 4U Inclusive Fitness was born - we believe everyone has equal rights to enjoy the sports they like because, just as our slogan says, “Everyone deserves better.”
