RemitLa’s mission is to be a world-class money transfer provider and bring about equality for those disadvantaged by existing financial systems and institutions. RemitLa aims to minimise the transaction costs involved in remittances for our customers’ hard-earned money that will allow them to achieve their financial goals. RemitLa will deliver exceptional customer service and enable our customers to do more, enjoy more and achieve more with our money transfer service.

Without domestic workers, countless parents in Hong Kong would have to stay at home to take care of their children or elderly. In addition, family incomes would decrease. So the city owes great gratitude to the domestic workers who are already a part of Hong Kong. Saving as little as a few hundred dollars more each month means a great deal to domestic workers. However, RemitLa can help them save thousands of dollars.

Through the use of peer-to-peer technology, RemitLa will disrupt the century-old industry of remitting money. We intend to do this by providing a cheap, secure and fast remittance service that delivers competitive exchange rates and easy to understand transaction fees.

Domestic helpers are indispensable to Hong Kong, and it is unfair for them to have to face discrimination, a lack of respect and an increasing cost of living – RemitLa will help them save time and money. Our service will be a small gesture of gratitude towards domestic workers.
